It’s been a really long time since my last posting. Almost a year in fact and from that point until now I’ve been kicking myself on a daily basis that I’m not writing. I always have things flying through my head but I’ve decided to write much more consistently as part of my adaptation of the GTD methodology onto the handling of my life. The most important aspect of GTD is getting things out of your head and into a trusted system so that you have time to think about the big, important stuff. Well…thats what I’m doing here really on multiple levels. I want to get the ideas flying around inside my head written down somewhere so that the trivial stuff is just gone and the important stuff is “on paper” with more brain cells available to process that important stuff further (and then write more down). It’s quite a change to how I have been doing things (read: chaos) so I’m hoping that it works. At the very least it imposes discipline. Of all things I need that the most.
