iTunes Smart Playlist – Show all purchased music

Like a lot of people I buy music both via iTunes and the Amazon Music Store.    Tonight I finally created an iTunes smart playlist to show all of the music I’ve purchased from both stores.  This playlist will exclude any videos or books you might have purchased.   It might not exclude any music videos as I haven’t purchased any of those to test.  This was created with iTunes 10.3.1 on the Mac.  It should work the same for Windows.

Note that the first thing the playlist does is filter out non-music items.  Then it either grabs AAC files with a purchased flag set to true or something with “Amazon.com” in the comments.  Anything purchased from Amazon is an mp3 with the song ID embedded in the comment tag.  I didn’t include the Song ID portion of the text because I wouldn’t put Amazon.com in a file comment by myself.

Enjoy!
